I am happy to let you know that after writing for Examiner (see below), I am now a columnist on the Destined For Freedom website. I write on the subject of Freedom from (negative) Generational Patterns. The site is an extension of Marnie Pehrson's Book: Light the World: How your brilliance can shift the planet.
Although times are troubled, I know we CAN create positive change. My story is included in Marnie's book. There, Marnie talks about how she and others are leading the world to a brighter, freedom-filled future.
Leslie Householder, author of The Jackrabbit Factor: Portal to Genius, said this about the book, "We live in a time of growing spiritual darkness; but on the flip side,
it is also a time of great enlightenment, progress, growth, and healing.
As you conquer personal challenges, you may feel called to share your
new found light with others. But that task can feel overwhelming. The
truth is, you may be the first to provide the needed illumination for
others to experience a similar victory. You're a pioneer. So if you've
ever wondered, 'How can I possibly fulfill the role that seems to be
uniquely mine to fill?' through this book, you will band together with
other light-bearing pioneers and find the needed strength and
understanding to get the job done."
MORE RECOMMENDED READING
In October 2012, Carol Tuttle's The Child Whisperer
was released, bringing hope to frustrated parents around the globe. In
this insightful book, Carol teaches how to read our child's "clues" and
make decisions accordingly (as a parent or grandparent). Frustration
can turn into a much more joyful experience while raising children. Our
homes and families then radiate a less anxiety-ridden, more cooperative
atmosphere. (This book also makes a great gift for teachers!) I highly
recommend The Child Whisperer.
Now a little blast from the past:
From February 2010 to June of 2012, I wrote, as a journalist, for Examiner.com and functioned in the capacity of the "Phoenix Genealogy Examiner". If you'd like to see my articles, CLICK HERE.
In 2011, my Monday articles include prompts to help you write your personal history authored by Amy Coffin of the WeTree Blog. These prompts were hosted on the GeneaBloggers website and were part of the "52 Weeks to Personal Genealogy and History" series.
